UNR + Community

As UNR prepares for its second full season of operation, we have come to realize how special our surrounding communities are.  We have many great small businesses and organizations in our nearby communities.  The collaboration and cooperation when rallying for a cause, helping a neighbor, or rescuing a stranger is truly inspiring.

Our communities also offer a variety of entertainment, dining, and recreational opportunities.  Numerous town festivals, updated and new restaurants, and the endless array of outdoor activity possibilities makes UNR feel extremely lucky to be at this location.

Our 2026 social media activity will try to highlight some of the great community events and happenings in the surrounding communities.  It will be impossible to capture everything, so if you bless us with a stay or have already camped at UNR and come across something memorable, please share with us.

For 2026, UNR will be holding our prices steady and continuing to offer free firewood.  Reminder, we have daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal rates.  Monthly and seasonal options are filling up, so please reach out soon if interested in a longer term stay.  We are also exploring options for an online store with the potential to order UNR merchandise. 

We look forward to continuing to grow our UNR community.  It has been rewarding to see positive reviews and hear of the great experiences at UNR and the surrounding area.  The returning guests and referrals to newcomers are much appreciated.  UNR wishes you great health and a rewarding 2026 camping season.
